“KAAARAAA!”

Lena’s scream ricocheted all around the empty space. It bounced off the remaining walls and the debris of the walls that had fallen.

The echo persisted for a few seconds, giving an illusion of noise, therefore, numbing the fear and loneliness.

Everything was dusty and dark, save for the distant light of the rising moon. But the worrying aspect was the crippling emptiness of it all. It was like there was no living soul in what was left of this place. Well…no other living soul.

When the echo died there was only silence.

Summary:

Several months have passed since Lena found out about Kara being Supergirl. Kara and Lena have mended their friendship. The prospect of a mission together, the first since the reveal, is really exciting. They thought they had it all figured out but they’re going headfirst into the unknown. About what they mean to each other, and about the mission.

It’s reveal time for my @supercorpbb fic! 

I’m so happy I get to share it with the world because I’ve been working on this fic for a while. The idea came to me late one summer night 3 years ago. I wrote chapter one there and then and have slowly added paragraphs since. The Supercorp Big Bang gave me the boost I needed to finish this story.

me when i remember the 100th episode of supergirl was about how kara would try literally CHANGING THE TIMELINE to make lena forgive her and love her again and that if they had never met they would both be dead and that you can only plead the fifth in the US for yourself or your married spouse
